What I research
The writing here draws on an ongoing line of research into how organizations and AI grow into each other:
- Organizational AI adoption. How AI actually takes hold in an organization: past the pilot, past the demo.
- Use cases. Which applications of AI are real, which are theatre, and how to tell early.
- ROI. Where the value shows up, and how to evidence it honestly.
- The agentic coworker. What changes about work when agents share the job with people.
- Organizational design. Governance, risk and growth in an organization built to run on judgment and agents.
How I work
- I distinguish observation, inference, prediction, and recommendation.
- I link to primary sources and state my assumptions.
- I correct errors visibly and disclose material use of AI.
- I build what I write about, including ZAMARA, my own multi-model agent system, so the arguments are pressure-tested, not just theorized.
